brush64 is making its mark as a new kid on the block for stylish, lifestyle homewares.
Launched in October 2013 the store instantly created an impact with it’s stunning image led website.
The owner, fashion and lifestyle photographer Paul Viant wanted to produce a feeling of nostalgia, quality and texture within the range. Where every product from an oak rabbit designed in the 1950’s, to a rattan log basket on wheels, could sit beautifully next to each other for many years to come.
Meticulously sourcing each piece has led brush64 to house some exciting pieces of furniture including a brand new range of stitched organic wool & horsehair mattresses.
Handmade in Wales and inspired by the old school Italian day bed, all the mattresses are upholstered in Ian Mankin ticking fabrics.
These mattresses are made in the traditional Italian manner and are a dying art. Only a handful of artisans still create them. They are cool in the heat and warm in the cold.
“We use ours as a daybed on scaffold boards with industrial wheels, where the mattress is there to see. They are too good to cover up.” Comments Paul.
Bang on trend are their recycled industrial galvanised rails, which can be used as towel and toilet roll holders etc. High in demand, these rails are made up by heavy-duty ¾ inch steel pipe and fittings.
This store really does host a range of unusual beautiful products that will help your home stand out. Why not use one of their vintage rusted letters that light up to add a touch of fun and vibrance to a room.
“Many of our products really need to be seen and admired so we will hopefully be opening a small store in Wiltshire during 2015. Do watch this space!” exclaims Paul.
