A Downtown Abbey inspired shoot

As the period drama “Downtown Abbey” captures the attention of the world, we look at the stunning 18th Century Irish estate Florence Court and how you can obtain a similar style in your home.

Florence Court is a large 18th-century house and estate located 8 miles south-west of Enniskillen, County Fermanagh. Set in the foothills of Cuilcagh Mountain, it was the seat of the Earls of Enniskillen before the National Trust acquired it in 1953. Florence Court is romantically named after the wife of Sir John Cole who first built a house on the spectacular site in the early 18th century. The present Palladian style house was probably built by his son John. The wings and Pavilion were added to the mid-18th century block around 1770.

When studying each room, from the vibrant library, vast entrance foyer, spectacular dining room and serving area, there are plenty of ideas to help you create a similar modern day version in your home.....
