High Road House

31st October 2014

Hotel Review

Owned by Soho House, which was founded in London 1995, as a private members’ club for those in film, media and creative industries. The company has since expanded to include Houses across Europe and North America, as well as restaurants, cinemas, spas and hotels. High Road House is one of their highly popular hotels. Built on the site of the historic Fouberts Hotel in Chiswick, West London, High Road House opened in July 2006. It sits above the High Road Brasserie and a Cowshed Shop.

Situated in a Georgain Townhouse, there are 14 small hotel rooms located on the second and third floors. The light and intimate interiors with wood and natural materials create a snug and homely feel.

Designed by renowned interior designer Ilse Crawford, the interiors boost a scandinavian feel with light, bright painted wood panelling and exposed brick.

The club room has sofas and booths perfect for all day eating. It also displays art work by Elizabeth Price, Ryan Gander, Mark Wallinger and emerging British artists.

Rooms are available for both non-members and members, with a discounted rate offered to members. Booking Rates are per room, per night.
