The Autumn Winter Style Guide 29th September 2015, the online destination to discover and shop luxury interiors, is proud to introduce its very first Style Guide – a seasonal, interactive print edition created to showcase all the key pieces, inspiration and tips needed to transform your home this season. This new launch makes the process of online shopping even more simple and enjoyable for the style-aware homeowner.

“Telling inspirational interior design stories has always been the core of the LuxDeco brand because we believe that a home should reflect the styles and lives of the people who live there,” explains CEO Jonathan Holmes, “The launch of the Style Guide reinforces our commitment to this through its use of tailor-made pieces, impeccable hand craftsmanship and unique finds.”

A highlight is the guide’s spotlight of the retailer’s new Autumn Winter 2015 collection. Entitled Metropolitan Luxe, the range promises readers the best that city living has to offer thanks to its luxurious urban vibe. Emphasis is put on recapturing the lost art of entertaining, refined silhouettes and unique conversation-starters.

“The collection is characterised by a slick aesthetic which blends luxurious finishes with clean lines and unique home accents,” reveals Creative Director, Linda Holmes.

For the lounge areas, generous suede seating is piled high with fur, velvet and cotton-rich cushions, creating irresistible spots to curl up in come the ever-advancing early nights. Glossy marble and metal tables strike a smart balance when combined with unique, sculptural decor whilst glossy photo frames and vases of autumnal blooms add depth.

The dining room is set, once again, to become the social hub of the home. Wile away the pre- and post-dinner hours around a stylish Art Deco-inspired table, and enveloped in sumptuous champagne velvet armchairs, under the atmospheric glow of an elegant chandelier. Accented with a glistening table spread, it transitions beautifully for festive occasions.

A masterclass in form and function, this season’s home office teams a softened masculine vibe with rich leather detailing, shagreen desk accessories and plush flooring. The bar, which boasts sleek lines and a moody ambience, makes for a stylish locale to enjoy company.

And, of course, the bedroom – the ultimate haven away from eventful city life – delivers luxurious comfort in spades. A modern four-poster bed, dressed in a quilted duvet and finished with modern artwork, turns bedtime into a thrilling prospect night after night.

Exploring the unique looks and designs that define each season, the Style Guide will be released biannually and is supported with a corresponding image recognition app which allows users to scan and shop its pages. The LuxDeco app also allows users to unlock exclusive content, available only to Style Guide readers, including Behind The Scenes videos, exclusive interviews and additional inspiring imagery.

“Even as an online retailer we appreciate the printed medium but, naturally, we wanted to enhance this with a digital element,” Jonathan says of the decision to create additional, interactive content, “By complementing the Style Guide with the LuxDeco app, where you can shop directly from its pages, we’re helping customers on the journey from discovery through to purchase.”

The team travelled around the world to bring each piece of content and each spread to life. Interviews with international Tastemakers Aerin Lauder – founder of luxury lifestyle brand AERIN and granddaughter of Estée Lauder – and acclaimed French interior designer Jean-Louis Deniot are just two features which offer readers industry inspiration and practical style notes.
