In a recent quick fire round of 73 questions in 5 minutes with Vogue, we get the most amazing insight into Sarah Jessica Parkers NYC brownstone home in the West Village which she shares with husband, Matthew Broderick and their three children.
Her home is instantly full of charm and warmth with some amazing quirky design features like a Ping-Pong table in the front room! Asked to describe New York City in three words she comments “symphonic, tiny and real.”
Although the interview is fascinating we have to be honest we had to watch a second time to listen - as the whole way through the video we where glued to the design of her rooms! From classic parquet flooring through to a wonderful green velvet sofa that looks like the perfect spot to relax in while reading one of her many books (filling the ceiling high bookcases). In fact it is here that you can view Jessica’s favorite part of the room, her globes.
We love the distinction of separate living spaces from the green walls in the back cozy living room through to the white walls covered in art, in the bright fun front room complete with it’s own piano. Check out the video to hear all her answers and swoon over her fabulous home.
