Philip and Jude’s 1920’s inspired wedding was the theme for their beautiful day. Jude talks us through the style for the day.
"We got married on the 3rd August 2012 in Moira Baptist Church. Our reception was in the beautiful Ballydugan Mill in Downpatrick, a stunning 8 storey restored flour mill. In the beginning we didn't really have a look in mind, but the 1920's inspiration became a big part of the day when I had a gorgeous flapper style headpiece made by AliFaye Jewellery. I love that whole era, very glamorous without being over done.
Philip loved the whole ceremony, having all our friends and family there with us was so important to both of us. It was definitely the part of the day we spent most time planning and thinking about. My favourite memory of the day has to be standing at the front of the church with my dad on one side and Philip on the other, just before we said our vows... Blackbox captured the moment perfectly with a brilliant photo of me holding both of their hands. To read the full article subscribe today to our magazine and receive 25% discount including access to all past issues.
